What sets our service department apart from the competition? Our team! From the first ring of the telephone to our service technician coming to your home, you can rely on friendly, prompt, professional attention and service.
Our service team of 11 licensed technicians and 2 apprentices is led by service manager, Doug Gesick. Doug has worked for Wilcox Energy for 19 years. He started as a technician in 1993 and has worked his way through the ranks, taking over for Bruce “Pops” Wagner when he retired in 2004. If you add up all the years of experience in our service department, it would span well into 2 centuries. Many of our service technicians have worked for Wilcox Energy for over 15 years!
Doug works diligently to keep his crew up to date on the latest innovations and technologies. Our technicians go to manufacturers’ training seminars, so that they know exactly what is new, what is changing and what is improved. They receive continuing education, not only on service issues, but on customer service & satisfaction as well. This is our front line. They need to be professional, courteous & knowledgeable, not just about service issues, but about customer concerns as well.
Your customer service experience begins as soon as you pick up the phone to call us. Ruth Wagner, our service dispatcher, has been answering your calls for 19 years. Whether you are calling to schedule a cleaning or you have no heat in below freezing temperatures, she understands your concerns & she knows exactly what questions to ask to ensure that you are going to receive the best possible service experience right from the start.
Our service department maintains a parts inventory in excess of $200 thousand. This allows our technicians to often fix service issues right on the spot, without the need to reschedule another appointment. Our goal is to get our customers up and running in as fast and efficient a way as possible. We can’t have families waiting in the cold for us to order parts. We want to fix it whether it’s 2:00 in the morning or 2:00 in the afternoon!
