Why have we changed our name?

Since 1955 Wilcox Fuel has been a fixture on The Green in the picturesque shoreline town of Westbrook, CT. for nearly sixty years, we have been serving residences along the CT shoreline and lower CT River Valley. We are more than just an oil company and recently changed our name to Wilcox Energy in order to convey a clearer message of who we are, and to emphasize our expansion into all areas of home energy needs. As a local full service energy company, we currently provide home heating and cooling services to nearly 4,000 homes using oil, biofuel, & propane.  We service natural gas systems, hybrid systems, and we can now even help you lower your electric bills.

Keeping it local. We deliver to and service only homes that are located within 20 miles of our office. Our professional, courteous and certified service professionals are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and never too far away to handle any emergency in a timely manner to your complete satisfaction. Therefore, our service area is limited to the following towns: Chester, Clinton, Deep River, East Haddam, East Lyme, Essex, Guilford, Haddam, Higganum, Killingworth, Lyme, Madison, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Salem and Westbrook.
