When you call us to set up an appointment for your home analysis and free estimate, you will meet with Matt.  Matt has been working in the heating and air conditioning industry for nearly 20 years.  He started his career with Wilcox Fuel back in the early 1990s.  He came on board as an apprentice and he learned about the industry from the ground up.  After working at Wilcox for 4 years, and left and enlisted in the navy where he served for 4 years.  His time in the navy was spent in HVAC.  Upon his return to CT, he and his new wife settled back in Deep River, and he started working for Bentley Heating and Air Conditioning.  While he was at Bentley Heating Cooling, he again worked his way up the ranks.  When he started, he was Dean Bentley’s only service employee.  He helped grow the business tremendously, working his way up to service manager.

When Bentley merged with Wilcox Energy in 2011, Matt became the head installer, working diligently to ensure quality installations from start to finish.  He is excited to face new challenges in his new role as Installations Sales Manager and HVAC System Designer.

Wilcox Energy’s merger with Bentley Heating & Air Conditioning has allowed us to expand our services beyond propane and oil. The Bentley Divison of Wilcox Energy specializes in installing eco-friendly Bryant Hybrid Heating Systems™, Radiant Floor Heating Systems, heat pumps, and natural gas heating systems.

The Bentley Division of Wilcox Energy is our HVAC Department.

HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, the three main functions of any home comfort system.  Our Bentley division can handle every aspect of your new system installation, including evaluation, design, and duct work installation.

“When I converted my home from electric baseboard to central hot air heating and cooling, I chose Dean from among four contractors because I liked the dual-fuel (Liquid Propane/Electric heat pump) system he recommended, his cost was competitive, and he was diligent about measuring the home properly and understanding how air flows in the house. During installation, his team consulted with me on whatever questions or issues they encountered, and through the installation phase and forward to the ongoing maintenance of the system, his Company has always sent out knowledgeable, well trained professional people. The system works as advertised with virtually no performance issues. In HVAC, the reliability of the system and the people doing the work is critical. This website forced me to choose three attributes from among 7 which best describe his work, but in truth ALL of the attributes accurately describe Dean and his Company, so I happily recommend them without reservation.”
